During the summer, I want nothing more than to feel my toes in the sand and soak up the rays while lying on a beach. I have always wanted to visit Aruba. The beaches are fringing on turquoise Caribbean waters and include wide shady expanses, quiet retreats, and busy sunbathing and water sports meccas. Beachgoers can relax on their comfortable lounges, lost in their favorite book. For the more active beachgoer, swimming, snorkeling, kite surfing, waterskiing, tubing, parasailing, banana-boating, and all kinds of wet ‘n wild adventures are right there at your fingertips. Sign me up, that ALL sounds fabulous.

There are also Caribbean beaches along the windward coast that are more secluded and in undeveloped areas. This stretch of beaches is home to coves carved out of limestone and inlets formed by waves. Swimming here is not recommended because of the strong undertow but these beaches offer tranquility and privacy. This is a great place to go if you do not plan on getting in the water!

I would love to visit these beautiful beaches and just relax with a good book. Aruba has so much more to offer than just lying on the beach. There are always events going on, shopping to do, and a fun nightlife. There is sure to be an activity that can be enjoyed! Be sure to check out aruba.com to discover more about this beautiful place and learn all about Aruba travel.

Why would you want to visit Aruba? What would you like to do on a vacation like this?
