This recipe isn’t technically ice cream. It’s a great fake though. If you are trying to eat healthier and are craving something sweet or ice cream, this will hit the spot.
You will need:
1 frozen banana (MUST be frozen)
splash of almond milk
splash of vanilla
1 tbsp peanut butter
handful of spinach (this is optional but I always throw some in because you can’t taste it and it adds nutrients!)
Throw it all in a blender. I used my food chopper that came with my Ninja blender. I always put the spinach on bottom to make sure it gets good and blended.
That’s it! A delicious and healthy treat. This whole concoction is right around 200 calories. Perfect for an afternoon snack.
