Seeing as how my door has been neekkeed since after Christmas, I thought it was about time I made one. My spring wreath from last year was looking a little worse for wear or I would have just hung it back up.
I used the old wreath form to make this one. I had to remove all of the grassy stuff and flowers.
This was a Dollar Store wreath so it was pretty thin.
I grabbed some batting and wrapped it around and then hot glued it in place.
I grabbed some yellow fabric that I already had and cut it into strips. Then take the strips and wrap around, hot gluing as you go.
I wanted a Springy looking Welcome on my wreath. I used my Lifestyle Crafts Embossing Folder to leave a fun texture on the buntings. (As always, use the code YOUNG to receive 20% off your order) I then used my Cricut to cut out the Welcome letters.
I then made a bunting sandwich with some jute twine. I wanted the bunting to be a little thicker and more substantial.
I then just placed the bunting at an angle and added a few rosettes.
For the fabric hanger I just hot glued it together.
I can’t say that it’s my most favorite wreath ever but I think it turned out pretty cute.
The colors sure are fun though!
