Christmas Wreath {Tutorial}

Christmas Wreath

I knew I wanted something Christmas-y to go on my big mirror in my living room. A wreath was the perfect touch! I had a friend who moved and gave me all of her Christmas decorations. Yes, I said ALL of them. So now I can change up my “themes” from year to year. Her decorations were champagne, gold and bronze. TOTALLY different than my red, blue and silver! I’ll have to show you guys a side by side of my old mantel and new on this year.

Anyway, a wreath is super simple to make. Especially when you start with a garland wreath form.

These were my supplies. A wreath form, ornaments, “grape” bunches, old ribbon, and three ornaments wired together. I didn’t end up using any of the ornaments in the tube.

Take your ribbon and tie it around the wire backing of the wreath form.

Wrap your ribbon around the wreath and secure the other end by tying it around the wreath form.

Next, place your items around your wreath. Do NOT glue anything down yet.

Once you’ve got everything placed where you want it, hot glue it on. I whipped up a bow for the top of my wreath too.

And that’s it! Seriously, easiest wreath ever!

I can’t wait to show you guys the rest of my mantel!

Have you made any wreaths this Christmas season?
