All these years of blogging/crafting and this is my first table runner. When the challenge for this months Jo-ann campaign was to make a #turkeytablescape I knew that I wanted to make a table runner. We do not host Thanksgiving at my house so I wanted to keep things pretty simple.
I picked up some burlap and felt in fall colors.
I cut my burlap to the size I wanted. I then got my hot glue gun and folded over the edge to make a seam.
Both sides should look like this.
Next cut out your leaves. I just free handed mine.
Hot glue them all on. I followed a pattern on each row but I changed up the pattern so that no two colors overlapped.
For my first table runner, I think it turned out pretty good! It’s great for fall and Thanksgiving.
